Odyssey starring Vincent Price

This rare LP features 19 radio spots from 1970 originally sponsored by Best Western Motels, and featuring Vincent Price. Produced by Blanc Communications Corp, part of Mel Blanc’s Superfun production outfits, it’s a fun oddity which fuses historical anecdotes about people and places around the US with total hokum, and Price has a whole lot of fun with it.

  1. Would anyone give me a reference to that statement please (need asap for my academic paper!): Vincent’s dulcit tones were once described by Mae West as being like ‘having your ears carved into new shapes with a sharp blade made of the softest silk’. I need only the source of this quote. I’ve scrolled around a host of websites, but can’t find anything. Help please, if you can!
