Vincent plays The Captain (aka Sir Hugh Tregathion) in director Jacques Tourneur's final film - an uninspired rip-off of the superior 1959 James Mason vehicle Journey to the Centre of the Earth (just think chickens and ducks) set in Cornwall (yeh! sure so where's Poldark when you need him?). Poor Vincent plays 'yet-again' a tormented soul who just can't get over the loss of his wife a century earlier.
