VINCENT SINGS

SONGS FEATURING

THE VOICE OF VINCENT PRICE

Album: Thriller

Artist: Michael Jackson

Song: The Thriller (Rap)

Year: 1982

Lyrics: Darkness falls across the land

The midnight hour is close at hand

Creatures crawl in search of blood

To terrorize y'awl's neighbourhood

And whosoever shall be found

Without the soul for getting down

Must stand and face the hounds of hell

And rot inside a corpse's shell

The foulest stench is in the air

The funk of forty thousand years

And grizzy ghouls from every tomb

Are closing in to seal your doom

And though you fight to stay alive

Your body starts to shiver

For no mere mortal can resist

The evil of the thriller

Second Verse (Unused)

The demons squeal in sheer delight

Itıs you they spy, so plump, so right

For although the groove is hard to beat

It's still you stand with frozen feet

You try to run, you try to scream

But no more sun you'll ever see

For evil reached from the crypt

To crush you in it's icy grip.

Single: The Monster Mash

B-Side: The Bard's Own Recipe

Year: 1977

Lyrics (The Monster Mash): I was working in the lab late one night

When my eyes beheld an eerie sight

For my monster from his slab began to rise

And suddenly to my surprise

He did the mash

He did the monster mash

The monster mash

It was a graveyard smash

He did the mash

It caught on in a flash

He did the mash

He did the monster mash

From my laboratory in the castle east

To the master bedroom where the vampires feast

The ghouls all came from their humble abodes

To get a jolt from my electrodes

They did the mash

They did the monster mash

The monster mash

It was a graveyard smash

They did the mash

It caught on in a flash

They did the mash

They did the monster mash

The zombies were having fun

The party had just begun

The guests included Wolf Man

Dracula and his son

The scene was rockin'

All were digging the sounds

Igor on chains, backed by his baying hounds

The coffin-bangers were about to arrive

With their vocal group, "The Crypt-Kicker Five"

They played the mash

They played the monster mash

The monster mash

It was a graveyard smash

They played the mash

It caught on in a flash

They played the mash

They played the monster mash

Out from his coffin, Drac's voice did ring

Seems he was troubled by just one thing

He opened the lid and shook his fist

And said, "Whatever happened to my Transylvania twist?"

It's now the mash

It's now the monster mash

The monster mash

And it's a graveyard smash

It's now the mash

It's caught on in a flash

It's now the mash

It's now the monster mash

Now everything's cool, Drac's a part of the band

And my monster mash is the hit of the land

For you, the living, this mash was meant too

When you get to my door, tell them VINCENT sent you

Then you can mash

Now you can monster mash

The monster mash

It was a graveyard smash

Then you can mash

It'll catch on in a flash

Then you can mash

Now you can monster mash

NOW... Watch Vinnie perform the Monster Mash, with a little help from Pan's People.

Lyrics (The Bard's Own Recipe):

Eye of newt and toe of frog

Wool of bat and tongue of dog

Adders for _____ sting

Lizard's leg and owlet's wing.

(Chorus)

Lord will it be. Bard's own recipe

Scale of dragon, Tooth of shark

Root of hemlock, digged in dark

Fillet of a penny snake

In the cauldron, boil and bake

(Chorus)

Liver of a blaspheming jew

Gaul of goat and slips of yew

Silvered in the moonıs eclipse

Loads of turk and tartarıs nips

(Chorus)

Cool it with a baboon's blood

Then the charm is perm and good

Elves and fairies in a ring

Now about the caudron sing

(Chorus)

Album: Welcome to My Nightmare

Artist: Alice Cooper

Song: The Black Widow

Year: 1975

Lyrics: Leaving lepidoptra,

Please, don't touch the display, little boy, aha cute!

Moving to the next aisle we have arachnida, the spiders,
our finest collection.

This friendly little devil is the heptothilidi, unfortunately harmless.
Next to him, the nasty licosa raptoria,
His tiny fangs cause creeping ulcerations of the skin.

And here. My prize. The Black Widow.
Isn't she lovely? And so deadly.
Her kiss is fifteen times as poisonous as that of the rattlesnake.
You see her venom is highly neuro-toxic,
Which is to say that it attacks the central nervous system
causing intense pain, profuse sweating, difficulty in breathing, loss of consciousness, violent convulsions and, finally death.

You know I think I love the most about her is her inborn need to dominate, possess.
In fact, immediately after the consummation of her marriage to the smaller - and weaker - male of the specie she kills and eats him.
Oh, she is delicious.
And I hope he was!
Such power and dignity - unhampered by sentiment.

If I may put forward a slice of personal philosophy, I feel that man has ruled this world as a stumbling demented child-king long enough!
And as his empire crumbles, my precious Black Widow shall rise as his most fitting successor!
