Ruddigore (1982)
The Lords of Ruddigore have been bound for centuries by a horrible curse - they must commit a crime every day or die a painful death. Problems occur when it becomes increasingly apparent that the heir to the Ruddigores is of virtuous character.
All I can say about this one is that it was a crime for Vincent to lend his failing voice to one of Gilbert & Sullivan's least enjoyable musical romps. OK so he was part of the Yale Glee Club in the 1930s, and wonderfully crooned his way in Laura and on Broadway in Darling of the Day, but in his later age, that wonderful baritone voice was just not there. Shame.
