The Oblong Box (1969)

A voodoo curses causes an aristocrat to go mad and seek bloody revenge...

A great idea totally wasted. Vincent walks through his role as the brother of a disfigured maniac out. Me thinks the pay cheque was the only thing on his mind. The filming of this gothic nightmare is more interesting than the film itself as Witchfinder General director Micheal Reeves was slated to take the helm, but ill-health prevented him to do so. One can only imagine what the finished product would have looked liked had he had complete control over the production. Instead it became a filler.

Some things are better left buried.
