What's a Nice Girl Like You? (1971)
A Bronx factory worker who is dead ringer for wealthy socialite is kidnapped by extortionists and forced to impersonate her.
This bizarre blend of tough crime drama, light comedy and romance fails to deliver, despite the great cast and Vacarro's star-turn. I think it might have looked good on paper but its too heavy to be farce and too light to be offbeat. Even Price tries to imbue his character with something other than his usual villanous ham, but it just falls flat. And as for Roddy McDowall, he would have been more convincing if he didn't portray his character as some sort of Norman Bates meets Pretty Boy Floyd. All in all a TV movie to pass the time and see some great 1970s character actors earning their keep.
