More Dead Than Alive (1968)

A dogged but dinky little Western according to the New York Times in 1969. TV's Cheyenne, Clint Walker, is the rugged, square-jawed anti-hero and although there is something winning about his earnestness as an actor, emotion rarely comes through. In addition, Walker's powerful shoulders dwarf this tiny drama, which casts him as a legendary, ex-con hounded by his past.

Vincent, as scheming showman Dan Ruffalo, is one of his pursuers. Given that Hollywood hates to admit that life can deal bad cards as well as honey coated ones, this little Western has a very downbeat feel and a sad, sad, sad ending (Anne Francis should of stayed on the Forbidden Planet with Robby and Leslie Neilson).

Killers in pairs... death by the dozen... They left the west... More Dead than Alive!
