Masque of the Red Death (1964)

As a plague decimates the Italian countryside during the 12th-century, the decadent, devil-worshipping Prince Prospero (Price) holds court over a masked ball where he insists that his guests indulge in depraved games. Only two innocents are permitted to escape intact, but they must go through the torments of the Damned to do so.

A Roger Corman all-time classic - and a favourite of critics and fans alike - this poetic masterpiece, drenched in color, is one to treasure. As Prospero, Vincent found his niche role - a diabolical and deadly satanist with just a touch of camp to really make you shiver.

SHUDDER... at the blood-stained dance of the Red Death! TREMBLE... to the hideous tortures of the catacombs of Kali! GASP... at the sacrifice of the innocent virgin to the vengeance of Baal!
