The Mad Magician (1954)

Vincent Price stars as Gallico the Great, an inventor of magic acts who takes diabolical revenge when his first-ever show is shut down because a famed magician Rinaldi wants his latest trick. After decapitating his manager, faking his own death and burning Rinaldi to crisp, Gallico begins impersonating his rival. But soon the police snare him with own of his own illusions.

A pale House of Wax imitation, with Price just a little too crazed for my liking. But the make-up effects are cool. Bring on the DVD in 3D!

Stay tuned. A sound clip will appear here soon.
