David Hedison plays a scientist whose teleport machine experiment turns him into a hideous hybrid of man and insect. Told in flashback, the audience wonders whether it is all the mind of his wife (Patricia Owens), who was found trying to put his head and arm under an industrial press at the start of the film.

Vincent might not be the star, but he sure gets the best scene.
