Based on the autobiography of convicted killer John Resko (Ben Gazzara), Reprieve, this biopic looks at Resko's life behind bars and how in transforming himself into an artist, he receives a pardon. This is a routine prison drama which gets saved from obscurity by some great cameos and a banging beat soundtrack (which certainly deserves a CD release).

Vincent has a wonderful cameo as art expert and author Carl Carmer.
