While the City Sleeps (1956)

When Vincent Price, the son of a recently-deceased media mogul, inherits his father's empire, a power struggle breaks out. Meanwhile, women in New York are falling prey to The Lipstick Killer (John Barrymore Jr). Top reporter Dana Andrews uses the power of television to draw the killer out into the open, ending in a hair-raising chase through the city's subway tunnels. An overlooked film noir classic with sterling performances.

Vincent shows his true acting credentials here as the fop who is out-of-his-depth in the cutthroat world of journalism.
