THEATRE OF BLOOD (1973)

I could dedicate an entire site to this film which is my favourite of all Price films. As Edward Lionheart, Price excels at sending up his own image and forever cements his reputation as the Master of the Macabre. With its brilliantly witty script, the Best of British thespians as Price's victims, great London locations (Ian Hendry's flat is now the abode of a certain Jeffrey Archer) and Michael Lewis's perfectly lush soundtrack, Theatre of Blood is the last word in cult camp creepy fun. Thank you Douglas for an all-time cinematic treat.
